Prof. Abdullah Alkhenizan, CCFP, FCFP, ABHPM, MSc, LLM, DCEpid

Prof. Abdullah Alkhenizan presently works as a consultant in the Department of Family Medicine and Polyclinics, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (General Organization) –Riyadh. Prof. Alkhenizan holds the academic title of Professor at Alfaisal University, Riyadh. He has concurrent assignments in this Institution which include Director of Ambulatory Care Services and Chairman of Evidence Based Practice Committee. Prof. Alkhenizan is listed in the World’s Top 2% most-cited scientists 2024 by Stanford University.

Prof. Alkhenizan career focused in the fields of Family Medicine with a special interest in the fields of Medical Law, Chronic Diseases, Evidence Based Practice, Research, and Healthcare Policy and Management.

For his postgraduate training, Prof. Alkhenizan completed the Family and Community Medicine Program, The Canadian College of Family Medicine Fellowship in Geriatrics, The American Board in Hospice and Palliative Care and the Clinical Epidemiology Program at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

He also holds Master’s Degree in Health Systems and Quality Management and a Master Degree in Medical Law, The Law School, University of Edinburgh, and he completed the Clinical Epidemiology Program at the University of Toronto.

Prof. Alkhenizan is a co-author of two books and published more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals with more than 200 presentations in local, regional and international meetings.
